We have learned that a company named “ArcelorMittal Mexico SA de CV Inc.” was recently registered in the state of New York (USA), which has no legal, operational, or commercial connection or relationship with ArcelorMittal México, S.A. de C.V., or with any other company that is part of the ArcelorMittal Group.

We wish to emphasize that ArcelorMittal Mexico, S.A. de C.V. is the only entity legally constituted and recognized to operate in the country and conduct commercial transactions under that name.

This third-party registration could be used for fraud or impersonation purposes, so we ask all our customers, suppliers, and partners to exercise extreme caution and verify any unusual communication or request, especially if it involves:

• Changes in payment instructions, bank accounts, or beneficiaries.
• New email addresses or similar but unofficial web domains.
• Documents or invoices from entities or individuals other than ArcelorMittal Mexico’s usual contacts.
